In Qatar, the main night for going out is Thursday, as the weekend starts on Friday. Friday is much quieter as many people work on Saturday. In general the Qatar bars, cafes, discos and clubs go on till three o’ clock in the morning, but most bars shut earlier. Most of the bars, cafes, discos and clubs are situated in or close to the hotels. F.e. Rydges in the Rydges Plaza Doha is a roof top bar with non stop televised sports or Qube right next to The Ramada Hotel, Doha’s largest entertainment bar / nightclub.
