In Qatar, the main night for going out is Thursday, as the weekend starts on Friday. Friday is much quieter as many people work on Saturday. In general the Qatar bars and clubs go on till three o’ clock in the morning, but most bars shut earlier.

At Rydges there is non-stop televised sport at the roof-top bar, or you could go to Garvies European Club for a more British experience.

The Qube is Doha’s largest entertainment bar / nightclub, located in a stand-alone building at The Ramada Hotel, with a separate area for women and couples upstairs, or there's our favourite seedy bar, Cloud 9, in Al Sadd Street. It’s a first for Doha and has become an attraction!
